Refine Health FAQ

General FAQ

We accept major insurance for mental health services only; however, we do accept HSA and FSA cards for services such as weight loss, IV Vitamin Therapy, etc. We are currently accepting the following insurances: Medicare, Medicaid, United Healthcare, Optum and BCBS.

IV Infusion Therapy

When you take vitamins orally the body must metabolize the nutrients through the digestive system. After this process you are left with about 40-50% of the actual necessity for good health. Since infusion therapy is injected directly into your bloodstream, your body absorbs a higher concentration (95-100%) of the nutrients. Thus, creating optimal cell, organ, and physical endurance.

We discuss allergies or potential side effects in your health assessment prior to receiving therapy to determine if you are a candidate.

All services are performed by license nurses and nurse practitioners.

IV therapy may not feasible for some pre-existing conditions such as Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Kidney Failure, Pneumonia, or recent diagnosis of Covid-19, etc. Pre-existing conditions will be evaluating during your health assessment.

Depending on the type of IV Infusion therapy requested, usually 45-60 minutes. Our NAD+ is infused over 4 hours to reduce any negative side effects.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is the replacement treatment of one of the most common debilitating symptoms associated with aging in men and women which are normally not addressed by health care providers. The goal of BHRT is to address the root cause of symptoms by optimizing your hormone levels.

Testosterone, Estrogen, Progesterone via Pellet.

Pellets are compounded estradiol or testosterone that are made from organic plant materials, which have the exact molecular structure of those hormones found in the body. Using a painless office procedure, they are inserted under the skin in the hip area. The pellets release small amounts of hormone directly into the bloodstream similar to that which the ovaries and testes produced during our younger adult years.

Each patients needs are unique. Most patients will need to have pellets inserted 3-4 times a year to maintain proper hormone levels. Men can typically expect to be pelleted every 4-5 months and women every 3-4 months depending on the sustained desired results.
